Garmin Approach Z82 is a golf binocular with GPS. The Approach Z82 is Garmin's flagship binocular and is packed with technology that makes your decision-making on the golf course easier.

Garmin Approach Z82 has the latest in technology that makes it easier to make decisions on the course. With image stabilization and the Flag finder function, you can easily hit the flag from over 400m with precision. The Playslike distance function then gives you the exact measurement including slope, and if that wasn't enough, you also get an indication of the wind speed and direction. With Pin Pointer, you get the exact direction to the green even if it is out of your field of vision. Like Garmin's GPS watches, the binoculars are pre-installed with 41,000 courses worldwide. On the left side of the full-color screen when you look through the binoculars, you have a complete overhead view of the hole you are playing. On this 2D hole view, you can easily see distances to various obstacles, layup options, and in green view you get the exact distance to the front, back edge and center. With Laser range arc technology, a virtual arc is drawn over the course view like a course guide. The Approach Z82 is also updated with a visual indicator on the top of the scope that shows when it is tournament-approved and has the Playslike distance feature turned off.

Course View, With the binoculars' built-in GPS, you get a 2D overview of the hole's layout. With over 41,000 pre-installed courses, you have the hole in the side of the view when you look through the binoculars. With this feature, similar to Garmin watches, you get a total overview of the hole with obstacles and layup options.

Playslike Distance, with adjustments for uphill and downhill slopes, gives you an accurate distance to the flag. The binoculars calculate what the distance is played as, including slope. The binoculars also show how the wind is blowing so you can include that information in your club selection. The Playslike feature can be easily turned off and is clearly indicated on the top of the binoculars to show that it is tournament approved.
