Darkspeed ONE Length - Irons (Custom-made)

The irons in Cobra's new Darkspeed family are developed for those looking for a forgiving club that also gives you more distance and has a pleasantly soft hit.

As ONE Length, all the clubs have the same shaft length: 37.25". The thing about ONE Length is that you get the same swing and setup with all your irons, making it easier for you to hit the ball well more often. And with better ball strike, the game becomes smoother and you hit the ball farther. The ONE Length irons also have more offset on the long irons so you hit the ball straighter.

Darkspeed irons have a hollow construction, which allows the face to flex more for increased distance. The hollow construction also allows for more weight in the sole, which provides a higher launch and more spin on the ball. Just like the drivers and fw in the Darkspeed family, the irons have been equipped with the curved PWRShell face. On the irons, the face goes both down into the sole and up on the top, making the club more forgiving over a larger part of the face.

Just like in the driver, a PWR-Bridge weight is positioned to maximize ball speed while allowing the face and sole to flex freely. The cavity in the club is filled with a soft foam that dampens vibrations and, above all, produces a soft sound upon ball impact.

Darkspeed ONE Length is sold with the KBS Tour Lite steel shaft and in a set of six clubs: 5–PW. 4, GW and SW are available to order as custom. Note that the clubs have a dark gray color instead of shiny chrome. The color not only makes the clubs look great, it also makes the club feel a little smaller at address.
